Shiroganeya is tucked away in the forests of Kaga, an unusually sparse but historic city originally created as a temple town nearly 400 years ago during the Edo period. The Komatsu Airport (which receives flights from Tokyo Haneda Airport) is a 25-minute drive away. The inn can also be reached by a 10-minute taxi ride from the Kaga Onsen train station.
