Nestled in a forest overlooking a spectacular dam in south-eastern Zimbabwe's Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, the six suites of Singita Pamushana Lodge offer secluded luxury amid breathtaking views.

If Frank Lloyd Wright had been asked to design a resort in Zimbabwe's Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, the result probably would have been the Singita Pamushana Lodge. With its gleaming dark wood and forest-like architecture, this luxury resort blends in perfectly with its incredible natural surroundings.

The lodge's five luxury suites and one villa are set amid lush gardens and feature spacious decks, their own private plunge pools, and incredible views of the Malilangwe Dam and sandstone hills in the distance. There are twice daily game drives with an experienced guide and tracker, or you can book a San Bushman Rock Art tour and see monuments dating back 2000 years.

The main lodge area offers indoor and outdoor dining areas, or you can enjoy a romantic secluded dinner in a natural forest setting. There's also a library, wine cellar, heated swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, as well as a game-viewing deck with a spotting scope that boasts amazing views of the region's abundant wildlife.

Located in southeastern Zimbabwe, the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is a 321,000-acre private reserve renowned for its teeming wildlife, including rare and endangered species such as the black rhino. The reserve is also famed for its majestic Mopane forests and Baobab trees.

There is a twice-weekly return flight to Buffalo Range Airport from Johannesburg's O.R. Thambo International Airport on Mondays and Thursdays. Singita Pamushana Lodge is a scenic 15-minute drive from the airport.
