Overview
Book the "Dining on the Rocks" experience, an outdoor dinner event served at sunset.
The resort's 66 spacious teak villas are set amid lush vegetation and offer breathtaking views from their floor-to-ceiling windows. All of the villas except the Hideaway Villas - which are built higher on the hill in a more secluded jungle setting - boast their own bathing decks and private infinity-edged swimming pools that look out over the turquoise ocean below.
The award-winning restaurants at Six Senses Samui offer some of the most delicious food on Samui. There's also an internationally acclaimed spa, a water sports center, and an art gallery on the resort grounds. If you wish to venture further afield, the resort organizes a variety of excursions, such as a "Morning Market Experience," catamaran sailing, sea kayaking, and snorkeling trips to Angthong National Marine Park.

Six Senses (SALA) Koh Samui
We went to Six Senses (SALA) at Koh Samui in Jan 2013.
Since the Kiwicollection scoring was set at 82 points we expected something really good.
We had heard just recently that there was a new owner for the Six Senses properties (SALA resorts) and we for sure noticed that when we arrived.
We travel a lot all around the world and Six Senses did not live up to our high expectations.
Everyone working at the resort were were kind and polite, but that is not what we are paying for.
Our Ocean front pool villa was ok, but not as clean and comfortable as we expect from a 5 star resort.
There was some animals not wanted to be seen where you are supposed to have a good nights sleep...
Food over all was not fresh and tasty, they gave you strange things in the dishes not mentioned in the menu.
Worst of all was the breakfast that was not fresh at all.
Everything was put out in the same are outdoors with nothing to protect it from flies etc.
The beach was not nice at all and swimming without bathingshoes was not an option due to sharp corals.
Service at the "beach club" was not to be seen.
We checked out one night earlier then as it was thought from the beginning.
3 nights at worn down Six Senses Koh Samui was more then enough for us.
I think this is more like a 4 star property, not close to be a 5
