In South Africa's northern Zululand lies Thanda Private Game Reserve, a property that recalls the film "Out of Africa" and living luxuriously in the outdoors. Thanda means "love" in Zulu, and Thanda Reserve was designed as an expression of the magical union of powerful Zulu culture, wildlife, romantic decadence, and exclusivity. Did the property's creators bring these lofty goals to fruition? Yes - and then some.

Choose from nine luxury bush villas and six colonial safari-style tented camps. The villas are romance incarnate, and if you opt to stay in one of the secluded safari-style camps, you'll feel like you're in a private world.
