Georgian townhouses hide a collection of fun and funky rooms near London's Marble Arch. The Arch London's Martini Library may make reading a bit challenging, but the conversation will make up for it.

Near Hyde Park sits The Arch London, an exercise in reinvention, creativity, and comfort. It's fitting that it shares the name of the nearby triumphant arch, as the hotel is victorious in what it has set out to achieve.

Each room is unique, much like the infinitely varied personalities of the plucky British people. Set through seven brick townhomes, 82 rooms are modern and sleek with full height windows and balconies on the first floor. For those feeling a bit hazy in the AM, in-room Nespresso should give you the pick-me-up you need.

Relax in total indulgence in the Martini Library (which is exactly as stupendous as it sounds) and flip through a Taschen book with a Manhattan in one hand and an éclair in the other. Just press the button for a drink refresh (yes, this is a real thing).

At HUNter 486, the names of the game are organic, sustainable, and local. Flavors are clear, and dishes are cooked properly without too much of a finicky touch. The décor is slick (Philippe Stark stools) without becoming pretentious, welcoming diners to an atmosphere of warmth and laughter.
