As you come up the sweeping driveway leading to Hacienda Temozon, prepare to have your breath taken away when the main residence comes into view. This gorgeous hacienda dates back to the 16th century and showcases the best in traditional colonial architecture, along with the modern amenities you'd expect in a luxury hotel.
The 28 rooms are named after the purposes for which they were originally used - the Pharmacy room, the School room, the Pay-house room, and so on. All rooms feature 18-foot ceilings with exposed beams and rafters, traditionally crafted iron beds, furniture made of local tropical hardwood, and Mayan-style tile floors. The suites feature their own terraces and private plunge pools.
Hacienda Temozon's restaurant overlooks the main gardens as well as the swimming pool and old factory buildings and offers a gourmet blend of traditional and international cuisine. There's also a tennis court, mountain bikes, and horses available for you to explore the countryside.
