The Fiordland wilderness, the Catlins coastline, and the kiwis at Stewart Island are all within reach of The Lodge at Tikana, but there's also plenty to do on-site, from scenic walks through the countryside, to horseback rides, to stimulating games of tennis on The Lodge's court. And nobody will blame you if you simply want to stay inside your sumptuous home-away-from home and enjoy a bottle from the house cellar while lounging on Egyptian cotton linens, with your private masseuse on call.
