The Peninsula Chicago is, without a doubt, one of the finest accommodations in Chicago. That's saying a lot in America's third biggest city.

Guests can control lights and curtains bedside with the flip of a switch.

The Peninsula Chicago doesn't just sit in the Magnificent Mile, it towers above it, contributing luxurious accommodation, five-star cuisine, and incomparable spa relaxation to one of America's most famous strips.

Guest rooms and suites are uniformly spacious, fresh, and bright, offering in situ views of one of the world's most engaging skylines. The full range of accommodations are on offer, including a few more in some of The Peninsula's larger suites. (Hope you can play the grand piano!) The fourth-floor outdoor Terrace is among Chicago's hottest spots to sip a drink and take in the views.

Inside, the Shanghai Terrace serves some of Chicago's finest Shanghainese and Cantonese cuisine, while Avenues serves contemporary American dishes using seasonal ingredients. Both have been keenly lauded by the local and national press.

The spa, meanwhile, was designed by ESPA and has to be experienced to be believed.
