Once a final stronghold for starving artists, SoHo has slowly grown into a much more gentrified scene. The raw, creative energy is still here, but it’s presented in a shinier, more global box.

What better host for this sojourn into artful excess than one Mr. Trump? The Trump SoHo New York is as masculine as one would expect. Dark wood and stone adorn the two-story lobby, and fine leather headboards present the beds as more than just a sleeping utensil.
