Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa offers two challenging and scenic golf courses, an enormous spa, and 350 days of sunshine a year.

Get squeaky clean under the double-headed shower in each bathroom. In a eco-friendly mood? Simply switch off the second head, and keep Palm Springs green.

Though that delicious heat and sunshine tells you it's a desert, you'd never know it. Three enormous pools glisten in the sunshine. Two award-winning golf courses seem to wrap Westin Mission Hills Resort in a grassy embrace. And on The Den's terrace patio, those ice cold drinks keep you cool, no matter how hot the day.

The Gary Player Signature Course is beautiful, seeming to flow into the desert landscape. Golf Magazine says it "may be the best golf course in the Palm Springs area." But it has competition. The other gem at Westin Mission Hills Resort, the Peter Dye Course, challenges with tricky water hazards, hidden pins and pot bunkers.

For non-golfers who stay here, there's no judgment. Instead, there's a spa. It has an intimate boutique feel despite its size. The treatments inspired by Native American healing arts are a local specialty.
