Bangkok Verticle Marathon

Test the vertical limits of fitness and endurance with Banyan Tree Bangkok’s exhilarating marathon for the athletically-inclined

The next Bangkok vertical marathon takes place September 9th at the Banyan Tree Hotel Bangkok.

The race is to benefit the HIV Formula Feeding Fund, a Thai Red Cross initiative under the patronage of HRH Princess Soamsawali.

In 2006 the event raised a total of 508,000 baht for the charity - it funds aids vulnerable HIV patients, especially children, who require extra care and support.

The vertical marathon takes participants up the 1,093 steps from the ground to the hotel's 61st floor Vertico restaurant: the record is held by Napadol Lalee,
