Le Sporting Club Monte-Carlo hosts the Summer 2006 Sporting Festival, August 5-7. One of the big draws this year will be Latin-pop singer, Eros Ramazzotti.

He became especially popular in Argentina, Germany and Mexico and during the 1990s and he has sold over 20 million records worldwide.

Now, with a new BMG deal finalized, he has his RadioRama production company, Eros moved from pop-oriented music to more straightahead rock, even recruiting a rock band for the 1995 Rock over Europe festival.

Monte Carlo hotels get booked way ahead at this time of year so your best bet is to see what SBM, which now has five properties, has to offer in the way of a room or suite.
