Wahu will star in Nairobi, Kenya, at the MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain, Saturday, October 10th, 2009 at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani indoor auditorium - and the following week, Saturday, October 17th, 2009, in London, England, Eric McKaiser, as CEO and Founder, hosts a similar event.

At Nairobi's MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain, Math-grad Wahu will share billing with such other greats as South Africa's Afro-soul queen Lira, Nigerian rapper M.I. ('Mister Incredible'), the Haitian-American hip-hop star Wyclef Jean, Jamaican reggae hero Sean Paul, and Ghanaian dancehall superstar Samini ('rain-god'), an electrifying performer who pairs reggae with hip-hop.
As the Group Marketing Director of main sponsor Zain International, Norman Moyo, says, the presence of such artists will guarantee a stunning and memorable music spectacle in Nairobi on October 10th, 2009.
The televised show will be broadcast on such channels as MTV base (DStv Channel 322, Daarsat) and terrestrial channels Citizen TV

(Kenya), WBS (Uganda), TBC 1 (Tanzania), TV3 (Ghana), STV (Nigeria) and AIT (Nigeria). The organizers of the MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain have blocked all the bedrooms at the 137-room Tribe - the Village Market Hotel, right next to the Village Market in the Gigiri area of Nairobi.
