Art Exhibit at Emirates Palace
Emirates Palace Kempinski Abu Dhabi – oh so beautiful, itself - hosts a major art fair November 19-22, 2009.

About 45 galleries will be exhibiting at this important event, at the Emirates' most culturally-associated luxury hotel.

Abu Dhabi's Tourism Development and Investment Company, is determined, under its Director of Culture, Rita Aoun-Abdo, to show that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi can stand up with any other nation worldwide when it comes to the best (coming up is Abu Dhabi's 400,000 sq ft Guggenheim Museum, for instance).
Patrons of Abu Dhabi's art fair include François Pinault, Chairman of PPR and owner of Christie's, artist Jeff Koons (read more here about Koons) and architect Lord Norman Foster, whose company Foster & Associates is currently designing the Zayed National Museum on Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Island (the Museum is named for the President of the UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi, HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan).
