EXPERIENCEApoka Lodge is located in Kidepo, one of the most spectacular parks in Uganda. In the vast panorama from the veranda of the park's Apoke Lodge, guests can watch a constant parade of wildlife including elephants, cheetahs, zebras, buffalos, countless antelopes and over 200 species of birds.
Apoka Lodge has 10 rooms built of wood, thatch and canvas spring from a large rocky kopje, with décor that was inspired from rock, the savannah and surrounding natural landscape. At Apoka Lodge guests can sit in the outdoor bathtub under the stars, or lie on the private veranda soaking up the view of the landscape dotted with all sorts of African wildlife. Guests sleep in a great big bed draped with soft Egyptian cotton sheets while listening to lions roar in the distance.
At Apoka Lodge guests can walk with the camp’s trained guides tracking game along the sandy dry riverbed or dive off a huge boulder into Uganda’s only rock pool while watching animals at the watering hole at the same time.
