A view to a thrill, Azur offers secluded luxury lodgings in a stunning natural setting amid the New Zealand outdoor adventure capital of Queenstown.
EXPERIENCE
New Zealanders call their country Godzone - and now you understand why as you gaze at the lake and mountains from the sundeck of your private villa at Azur. A glass of Central Otago Pinot Noir in hand, you make plans to get out and enjoy that majestic wilderness. Okay, maybe not bungy jumping - Kiwis love their extreme sports - but a fishing trip sounds like heaven.
Then again, you could stay put and drink in the view. With just nine 1,000 sq. ft. villas crafted from stone and silver beechwood, intimate Azur is built for relaxation. Furnishings are cozy yet contemporary, from the window-side spa bath to the fireplace to the super-king-sized bed with 300-thread-count sheets.
Catered in-room dining is a lock, but the more adventurous can head over to the lodge and chat with the concierge about restaurants in nearby Queenstown. After reserving the perfect spot, you may glance at hang-gliding and river surfing brochures. Hey, you only live once.
