Featuring the building made of wood and stone, it is comprised of 34 bungalow-style units, built on pillars, there are 60 double rooms and 4 suites, surrounded by sumptuous gardens and two larger buildings in which other amenities are situated, all rooms have verandas, unusually large areas and a view to Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean, both double rooms and suites have separate WC and bathrooms, refrigerator mini-bar, personal safe, television and radio, the suites are also equipped with an outside Jacuzzi and access to the Internet. A reception, library, seminar room compromise the indoor leisure areas with a capacity of approximately 40 people and the spa, all of these are found in one of the main buildings.

The bar, restaurant and kitchen are situated in another separate building, there are two heated swimming pools, one outdoor lagoon swimming pool and another indoors in the spa area. This development is unique in its innovative architectural features, with solid wood pillars in the interior of the large buildings instead of support walls, and exotic decoration undertaken by the interior decorator Didier Lefort, paying tribute to the Portuguese discoveries through his decoration, which includes a mixture of interesting exotic Asian, African and other influences.
