The beautiful and comfortable private villas are designed to blend light, proportions, colors with space and panoramas of the beach, lagoons, river and ocean. In this peaceful environment, beauty and freedom of nature meet comfort and service of the highest standard. Casa La Loma is a spectacular house set on a hill overlooking three kilometers beach on the Pacific Ocean. A combination of styles featuring Mexican, Mediterranean and Moorish characterize the quality of design and architecture of this house. Casa Alborada is a magnificent moorish style house located on the hill over-looking the coconut plantation and the Cuixmala river. Casa Puma is surrounded by a lavish exotic garden, featuring serene architecture with a sense of peace and well being. The views from the interior living room, dining room and the exterior covered living overlooks the many coconut palms and the infinity of the ocean. Cuixmala also offers Casitas. Casitas all share a club house with a restaurant, TV lounge and swimming pool that overlook the coconut plantation.
Mango, papaya, grapefruit, citrus orchards and many other exotic fruits are grown on the grounds of Cuixmala. In the gourmet dining restaurant, all the comestibles, whether dairy products, meats, fruits vegetables or fresh coffee, have been grown organically and processed in the ranch or in the highland farm, El Jabali.
Cuixmala is surrounded by The Cuixmala Ecological Foundation, which was established to protect the region’s rich biodiversity. Cuixmala provides visitors up-close encounters with coati mundis, wild boars, white tail deer to name a few. Zebras, elands and gazelles can be spotted roaming freely in the exotic animal park. Playa Cuixmala is also famous for being the nestling beach for thousand of turtles. In the last ten years more than 250,000 turtles were realesed by the area’s biologists. RECOGNITIONLOCATIONThe Costalegre is the area that stretches along the Mexican Pacific coast from Manzanillo to Puerto Vallarta. There are two seasons: dry (November to June, when the foliage turns desert brown) and wet (during the summer and fall months, when it's green and even hotter).
Cuixmala is situated between the two cities of Carretera Barra de Navidad–Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. The international airport in Puerto Vallarta is 99 miles from Cuixmala. Manzanillo has a smaller airport that is 43 miles away.
Because of the size of Cuixmala, guests may want a car to travel around the grounds. The resort can arrange transportation however, it is cheaper to rent a car at the airport.
