From the private apartments to the Hideaway Honeymoon suite, Double Island’s accommodations offer privacy, luxury and tropical paradise opulence. There are ten one-bedroom Garden View Rooms each with marble bathroom and private balcony and ten one-bedroom Apartments each with luxurious open plan lounge and dining area, opulent bathroom, fully-equipped kitchenette, plus either a private plunge pool or outdoor spa. All Apartments and Garden View Rooms are fully air-conditioned and adjoining Apartments and Garden View Rooms may be configured to form larger two-bedroom, two-bathroom accommodation. All blissfully comfortable, discreetly private and caressed by tropical island breezes.

A key feature is the magnificent heated 25m-landscaped pool and outdoor spa. The Games Room complex features a library, computer and Internet access, an indoor cinema with 52in plasma screen TV and surround sound system, pool and table tennis tables and computer game stations. There's the air-conditioned, modern beachside gymnasium, walking tracks, catamarans, windsurfers, canoes, and kayaks plus the unique moonlight outdoor cinema. Double Island's facilities and activities are all included in the base rental fee.

Covering 19 hectares (46 acre), Double Island is located one and a half kilometres (approximately one mile) off the coast from the village of Palm Cove, which is twenty-five minutes by car north of Cairns International Airport in Tropical North Queensland.
