Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate, after having been privately owned for well over 300 years, officially opened its doors to both corporate and leisure guests in early 2002. In May 2002 the new à la carte restaurant ‘De Vrienden van Jacob’ opened. Now, hotel guests can also enjoy dinner, as well as the luxury accommodation of Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate.

Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate has 75 deluxe hotel rooms. Some of these rooms are located in the country house, some in the new hotel wing. The country house offers accommodation in 31 rooms, furnished in classical English style. These include eight Standard Rooms, nine Superior Rooms, eight Deluxe Rooms, four Junior Suites and two Suites. The new hotel wing has 44 Executive Rooms furnished in modern, Ralph Lauren-style.

The a la carte restaurant, De Vrienden van Jacob, offers seating for 36 guests. The restaurant is located in the former ‘summer’ living room and sun lounge of the Cremer family’s country house. The restaurant derives its unusual name from the original resident of the house, Jacob Theodoor Cremer. He had the country estate built in order to be able to entertain relatives, friends and business contacts in style. A large terrace, adjoining the sun lounge, affords lovely views of the pond and the symmetrically designed, English-style gardens.

Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate is located in National Park Zuid Kennemerland. It is situated close to the lovely dune area, where guests can enjoy the scenic beauty and the peace and quiet.
