Nestled in the South American rainforest, Etnia Pousada E Loja is a unique luxury retreat in a quirkily beautiful Brazilian fishing village.
EXPERIENCE
Located in Trancoso, a Brazilian fishing village discovered by hippies in the 70s, Etnia Pousada E Loja is an idyllic refuge in the middle of lush rainforest. Founded by Jesuit Priests in the 16th Century, today the town’s famous grassy square has been declared a UNESCO historic site. Horseback riding, boating, and surfing are just steps away.
Retreat under the glossy-leafed banana and mango trees to one of Etnia Pousada’s eight bungalows, each of which is decorated with a different cultural theme, including Gipsy, Moroccan, and Goa. Subtle color themes, handcrafted wood furniture, and polished floors add to the feeling of exotic sophistication. In love with the décor? Hit the on-site boutique, where similar furnishings are conveniently for sale. Or just spend your day lounging on the beach or by the swimming pool beneath always-blue skies.
