The majority of rooms are decorated in classical style with ornate beds, draperies, and furniture. The Grand Deluxe rooms on the fourth floor each have a small terrace, which makes them feel all the more romantic.
Unlike most hotels, the presidential suite is not the Grand's finest room. For that, you will have to request the Art Deco suite which is, not surprisingly, decorated in an authentic 1930's fashion.

LOCATION
The Grand Hotel Balioni is in the heart of Bologna in Northern Italy. Its superb location makes travel to the hotel especially easy. The Guglielmo Marconi International Airport (BLQ) is no more than 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. However, visitors to Bologna are not encouraged to drive, as parking is a daunting proposition.
