Hotel Diplomat is beautifully situated on Strandvägen in Stockholm, a boulevard like street in Östermalm, lined with traditional stone buildings on one side and a quay stretching along the other side. Towards the end of the swinging 1960’s, the lounges and drawing rooms were converted into a modern hotel. Introduced with sensitivity and charm, technology and design continue to discreetly make their way into the rooms and the T/BAR restaurant at Hotel Diplomat. Guests can also visit the nearby shopping areas and a variety of entertainment facilities within walking distance of the hotel.

Hotel Diplomat is built in a classic Jugend style and has 129 individually decorated rooms and suites. Guests will enjoy fantastic services from the friendly, professional staff. All rooms have a writing desk, telephone and broad band internet connection for the business traveler. The bathrooms are generous and elegant and are fully stocked with FACE Stockholm toiletries. The hotel preserves the existing beauty and character of the building but meets the modern guests’ needs.

Restaurant T/BAR is a natural meeting place on Strandvägen where guests can enjoy a great atmosphere and fabulous food. In the summer time dinner can be enjoyed on the terrace where guests can watch people stroll by. For those guests who like a relaxed atmosphere in a classical bar setting the hotel recommends the cocktail bar on the first floor.
