In November 1887, restaurateur Carl Kämp made a dream come true. The Hotel Kämp was born, offering a country on the threshold of independence a taste of great European cities, luxury and refinement like nowhere else, a level of service hard to imagine. The Hotel Kämp became an integral part of Finnish history, blending eastern and western Europe with art, politics and business life. Today, after faithful restoration, the Hotel Kämp takes its place once again in the heart of Helsinki, as genuine and elegant as in the past, an experience to delight all the senses.
Many historically important decisions were made inside those walls. The luxurious hotel rooms have welcomed royalties, presidents and big artists as well as the businessmen already in the early 19th century. Hotel Kämp has 179 individual guest rooms, which have been completely refurbished retaining the original character of the hotel from the late 19th century, whilst providing all the modern facilities. Luxurious marble bathrooms are equipped with bath, separate walk-in shower and all dreamlike amenities. The biggest suites have also in-room sauna. Bathrobes and slippers are placed in the rooms for complete comfort and relaxation during your stay with them. All the rooms have color televisions with satellite, film and radio channels, 3 direct-dial telephones with voicemail and pc connection, Mini Bar and 24-hour Room Service. All the suites have a fax.
The spacious Balance Club filled with natural daylight on the 8th floor will give you unique experience in Helsinki. This atmosphere combined with the personal service by the experienced instructors will make the practice enjoyable and the relaxation perfect. Balance Club has the latest Cybex gym and testing equipment. The professional trainers will take care of you and assist with the equipment and give hints to balanced and suitable training just for you. Your training goals can be defined and saved on a computer so that you can follow your progress during your next visits. The Sauna department is an unforgettable experience where you can enjoy the aromatherapic mist shower, relax on ceramic divans, and refresh yourself in the steam room or luxurious mosaic Turkish sauna. There are also different beauty and massage treatments available on request as well as sun bed.
The discreet and beautifully decorated sauna suite is perfect for casual negotiations as well as meetings and evenings. To guarantee you will have a successful event it is recommended to order the food and beverage in advance, however the room service is also available during your event. The sauna suite is available for parties up to ten persons. Hotel Kämp offers laundry services for in-house guests including laundry, dry cleaning and pressing. Additional fees apply.
