Hotel Teatro occupies a building originally built in 1911 as the Denver Tramway Building. This site was the first location of the Evans Mansion, home of John Evans, Colorado's second territorial governor. The proximity to the Performing Arts Complex was the inspiration for the name Teatro, which means theatre in Italian. Hotel Teatro is designed to blend the grandeur of yesterday with the modern conveniences available today.

Hotel Teatro offers 111 guest rooms, including six Junior Suites, the Chancellor's Suite and The Apartment. Guest rooms have 12-foot ceilings and are decorated in rich, soft gold or sage tones. Indonesian sandstone foyers set the stage of refined elegance, complemented by custom built cherry wood armoires and headboards, luxurious damask fabrics, contemporary art deco furniture covered with fine fabrics, and luxurious touches like down comforters. Junior Suites offer a separate sitting room with double doors opening to the king-bedded sleeping room.

Junior Suites have two bathrooms - one with a rain shower and the other with separate rain shower and steeping tub. The Apartment features all of the comforts of home, set in an intimate luxury city apartment with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. Guests will find a beautiful dining table that seats up to eight, a kitchen supplied with essentials for breakfast with the kids or impromptu drinks with friends, a living area featuring a book and DVD library and a separate bedroom space with Frette linens and a down comforter.
