Kasbah Tamadot is the newest addition to the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio, emerging as a divine hideaway where the spirit and charm of traditional Moroccan design is beautifully infused with contemporary elements, creating an ambience of luxurious serenity with a hint of exotic adventure. Bought by Richard Branson in 1998, during one of his famous ballooning expeditions, Kasbah Tamadot is a magical walled building located near the village of Asni in Morocco’s High Atlas region. Within its protective walls guests will find an intriguing and extensive complex comprised of courtyards, staircases, rooms and exquisitely landscaped gardens.
Kasbah Tamadot has 18 beautifully decorated bedrooms and suites including a three bedroom Master Suite, which is an exquisite replica of the Kasbah. The Master Suite can be hired individually or exclusively and has a private pool and terrace offering uninterrupted 360 degree views. Each room is individually decorated and features intricately carved ceilings, antique doors, hand painted furniture and an eclectic mix of artifacts. Guests will enjoy Moroccan slippers, comfy beds, crisp cotton sheets, luxurious towels, and large windows affording spectacular views.
Kanoun Restaurant, named after the traditional Berber bread oven, overlooks the beautiful grounds of Kasbah Tamadot. Kanoun boasts an intimate fireside bar for pre-dinner cocktails, a stunning alfresco terrace and a rooftop with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, so guests can dine by candlelight, firelight, or even starlight! The delicate flavors, varied textures and exotic aromas of the cuisine, along with a well-stocked cellar, make dining a true experience.
Guests are invited to spend time at the indoor pool and spa area. There, a dark blue tiled pool, surrounded by loungers, offers views of the lushly planted garden outside. Adjacent to the indoor pool, there is a traditional Moroccan hammam and sauna.

LOCATION
Asni is a small town, in the foothills of the High Atlas mountains in Morocco. It is about a two hour drive from Marrakech. As the town is on both the routes into and around the Atlas mountains, there is a steady drift of tourists.
