Located in the city center of Maastricht, Kruisherenhotel is a renovated 15th century monastery of the Crutched Friars, which offers guests a breathtaking synthesis of a veritable Gothic exterior with a sleek, dressed-down modern interior.

EXPERIENCE

Situated in the centre of Maastricht is the former Kruisheren cloister, dating from the fifteenth century. Together with the monumental gothic church, this complex has been transformed into a very luxurious hotel, Kruisherenhotel. It is a unique place, in which antiquity and modern design are interwoven; yet, at the same time, architectural contrasts between the past and the present are very clear. The nave of the church contains a mezzanine with a breakfast area from which guests can gaze out of the large windows of the former chancel at a marvelous view of Maastricht. The former nave also houses reception, the lobby, three lounge corners in the former side chapels, three modern boardrooms, a library, a glass elevator and the wine bar with a very special wine cellar above ground.

The hotel boasts 60 modern five-star rooms. The interior has been created by the internationally renowned interior designer Henk Vos. Every one of the 60 hotel rooms has its own individual contemporary character.

The split level restaurant is located in the old monastry and offers panoramic views of the church and the city of Maastrict, serving buffet breakfast and light lunches with a selection of wines from the Wine Bar

The Kruisherenhotel Maastricht has three modern, well-equipped boardrooms at its disposal, suitable for four to twenty people, for use for conferences and other meetings. Furthermore, the public areas are ideal for hosting special gatherings, whether for business or personal occasions.
