Featuring 20 luxuriously appointed guest rooms in a three story building, L’Auberge Carmel's European style architecture focuses around a classic brick courtyard and upper floor rooms offer a peek of Carmel Bay. The interior decor of guest rooms is rich and pleasing; warm jewel tones accent the quaint charm of the architecture. Individually designed guest rooms feature the finest fabrics and linens, enlarged bath areas with radiant floor heating, some with soaking tubs. With farmers delivering products daily to the Aubergine kitchen, the cooking philosophy is built on spontaneity, as staff focus on making the most of the natural, fresh products. This restaurant also features an underground wine cellar that was constructed beneath the inn's courtyard to house the restaurant's 4,500-bottle collection.
