La Pleta is a wonderful luxury hotel in Baqueira-Lleida. The area of Baqueira-Lleida is not so widely known but is a skier's dream and a summer rambler's heaven. Guests will appreciate the majestic Pyrenean scenery that folds itself around waterfalls, forests, lakes and tiny villages with Romanesque churches. La Pleta Hotel & Spa is a year-round delight.

La Pleta has 67 rooms and suites. The rooms are decorated in beautiful woods and consist of plush beds, wonderful duvet covers and goose down pillows. The suites feature mesmerizing mountain views, glorious beds, down pillows and separate living room. The Presidential Suite comprises of two floors and combines traditional wooden floors and beams with modern design. The first floor features a guest bathroom and lounge area with dining table. The rustic stairwell leads up to the large bedroom and master bathroom. Separated from the bedroom by a glass wall, an infinity bed offers uninterrupted views of the mountains.

Del Gel al Foc, meaning from ice to fire in Catalan, serves breakfast and à la carte dinner. Del Gel al Foc offers creative Catalan and international cuisine with an extensive wine list in a stylish but relaxed dining environment. The hotel features a large veranda that wraps around the hotel where guests can enjoy a relaxing glass of wine while taking in the gorgeous views.

The Occitania Spa is inspired by the ancient culture of the Pyrenees while the crisp air invites the body, mind and soul to relax. The scents of pine and juniper seduce the senses taking them into an experience of peace and full rejuvenation.

La Pleta is set in an exclusive ski resort in the Occitanian Mountains' area of Baqueira-Lleida in the Pyrenees in Northern Spain. Nearby attractions include the Catalan Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boi and the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone. For excellent walking visit the nearby Parc Nacjonal d'Aiguestortes, dotted with shimmering lakes and fringed by dramatic mountain peaks.
