La Residencia

The hotel consists of two manor houses dating from the XVI and XVII centuries, carefully and lovingly restored. Furnished with Spanish antiques, local fabrics and a wealth of local art, the hotel imbues both elegance and informality that carefully combine to provide relaxation in style.

The bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated in traditional Majorcan style. Calm natural tones, crisp white bed linen and curtains that float in the breeze, simple yet elegant, with all the comfort and extras you expect and more. The wooden shuttered windows overlook the lush landscaped gardens, which provide fresh herbs and olive oil for the kitchen, fruits for the homemade morning marmalades and fresh flowers for the rooms.

Privacy is paramount at La Residencia’s newly refurbished luxury suites. Three suites with outdoor pools, one with plunge pool, each with a private terrace and an area for sun lounging or for dining, with breathtaking views. The refurbished suites are equipped with plasma screens for DVD or video and have a spacious lounge area with luxury furnishings. Bathrooms have marble surrounds and separate toilet and shower areas. Both the superior suites offer wonderful views of mountains and village with luxurious bathrooms. The tower suite, recommended for the romantic, is on two levels and has an outside terrace. The 360º views are truly spectacular.

La Residencia is situated in the charming coastal and mountain village of Deià, Mallorca. It is located 50 km (40 min. drive) from the hotel.
Driving directions from the airport: follow the signs to Palma and just before you get to the city you will see exit signs for the "Via de Cintura" which you must take. Stay on this road until you see and exit sign for "Valldemossa". Head towards Valldemossa. The road climbs towards the mountains. When you get to the mountain village of Valldemossa you pass straight through and after leaving the village you will see a right hand turn to "DEIA". Take this road, which winds along the coast offering spectacular views, and you will come to the small village of Deià. Drive through the centre of the village and you will see a sign for the hotel on the stonewall at the right hand side of the road. It is a very sharp turn right up the hill to the hotel entrance.
