On Mexico's Pacific coast, but far away from any city, Las Alamandas Resort is an intimate and secluded haven in the middle of 1500 acres of verdant tropical forests and white sandy beaches. And with a maximum of 35 guests staying in the hotel's six villas, it feels a bit like your own private estate. The villas are hacienda style, with high-pitched tile roofs, palm-shaded terraces, and interiors festooned with traditional fabrics and local Mexican folk art.
The terrace of the oceanside Oasis Restaurant is not far from the pool, and surrounded by a grove of palm trees. Your candle-lit dinner is a delectable fusion of everything from sushi to Mexican favorites. A local fisherman provides the catch of the day, while fruits and vegetables are grown in an organic plot right at Las Alamandas. The resort staff can even pack a picnic for you to enjoy on an isolated beach you'll reach by horseback. Upon your return, gaze at stars with a cocktail in hand at the Estrella Azul rooftop bar.

LOCATION
Las Alamandas is on a secluded stretch of Mexico's Pacific coast, between the resort towns of Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. Puerto Vallarta's airport is approximately two hours north of the resort, while Manzanillo's is a half hour south.
