Offering the gracious ambiance of a traditional European family owned Inn, Les Mars evokes the charm of a classic French Chateau.
EXPERIENCE
Located just steps from Healdsburg’s historic Town Plaza, Les Mars Hotel features sixteen guestrooms, each individually designed and furnished with personally selected eighteenth and nineteenth century European antiques and fine art.
The second floor bedrooms have been built around a simple background of light beiges and give a feeling of space and calm, showing the fine antique furnishings to their best advantage. The third floor guest rooms, with soaring ceilings and fireplaces, remind you of a stay in a Country House in Europe. Rustic beams, grand canopy beds draped in luxurious fabrics, and mostly French antiques compliment the view of the beautiful wine country mountains.
A spectacular library, worthy of the fine wines it holds mixed with a collection of leather-bound books are awaiting the guest who wishes to relax in front of a cracking fire, reading and sipping a glass of wine or port before retiring for the night. Cyrus features contemporary luxury cuisine. The restaurant is a joint project of fine dining veterans maitre d’ Nick Peyton and executive chef Douglas Keane and is named for Cyrus Alexander, the pioneer namesake of the neighboring Alexander Valley. Cyrus is an intimate restaurant, only 65 seats, and designed to bring the feel of the French countryside to the dining room. The menu has strong classic French influences interlaced with contemporary, global accents.
Healdsburg, located only 67 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, is the quintessential wine country town, combining the best of small-town America with upscale boutiques, restaurants, art galleries and local micro farms and gardens. In addition to the many amenities available at the hotel and in the town, more than 60 wineries are located within a ten-mile drive of Les Mars, including award-winning wineries in the celebrated appellations of Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Russian River Valley.
