The Star Beds at Loisaba, Kenya are on raised platforms to provide blissful sleep under the vast African sky with only the stars and sky for a ceiling.

EXPERIENCE

The large, thatched house is set on the very edge of the escarpment with stunning far-reaching views across the plains to Mount Kenya. The main part of the house has a split level, large, comfortable sitting room and dining area and a well appointed, very well equipped kitchen where staff will cook meals for you. There is a wooden veranda which overlooks the paved path down to the pool with stunning views across the bush.

Set on the escarpment with panoramic views, the main lodge has seven rooms. The celebrated Star Beds, Kiboko and Kioja, each comprising of 2 double star bed sleeping platforms and one large family platform which all have ensuite bathroom and showers. Loisaba Private House offer guest’s private and exclusive accommodation, with their own staff, car and guide, as well as access to the main lodge’s facilities including the spa, swimming pool, and tennis court.

Loisaba is made for adventure: guests enjoy complete freedom to choose how they spend their time … the only barrier is your own imagination. Trek through the bush with camels, mountain bike down the escarpment, raft the Ewaso Nyiro, horseback ride or drive through the wild canyons of the two great rivers that span this vast area.
