The Nimmo Bay Resort is an intimate and exclusive fly-in seaside resort devoted to the finer things in life, like fly-fishing, wilderness exploration, and very fast helicopters.
EXPERIENCE
Remote coastal rainforest stretches as far as the eye can see, and a ring of snow-capped mountains meet the shoreline of a wide, calm bay. It's there you first spot the Nimmo Bay Resort. Your pilot points to the collection of guest cabins and, just down a narrow beach, the main lodge that actually floats on the bay. Beside the heli-pad, two cedar hot tubs steam away under a cascading waterfall.
But they’re for later. Because first, it’s adventure time. Depending on your appetite for the extreme, that can be a morning of fly-fishing and elk spotting in a quiet valley, river rafting, whale watching, or heli-hiking atop some of those sparkling mountain peaks. Or perhaps all of the above.
No matter how you get your daily adventure fix at the Nimmo Bay Resort, evenings are best spent eating fresh-caught Steelhead and crab, enjoying local wine and a sing-a-long, or perhaps treating yourself to a massage and some personal time in their one-of-a-kind rainforest shower.
