Lake Okareka is in the central region of New Zealand's North Island, near the city of Rotorua. By car or taxi, the hotel is 15 minutes from Rotorua and from Rotorua Regional Airport, which accommodates some international flights. If you're driving south to Lake Okareka from Auckland, give yourself about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
