Onguma Tree Top Camp

Enjoy special appearances by the stars of Etosha, as giraffe, zebra, lion and a variety of antelope come to quench their thirst . . . here you can take the time to savour Africa’s many scents and sounds - one breath at a time. Tree Top is a unique, intimate camp especially designed for discerning travellers who seek to experience the bush in all its raw splendour.

Tree Top Camp consists of four thatched, canvas-walled rooms, as well as a main complex. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, private outdoor shower and sprawling views of the watering hole. Fireside evenings can be enjoyed in the boma, where you are invited you to linger until the last dust of dusk has settled.

The main complex is where guests will feel that this is their home away from home. It is completely open towards the front where the waterhole is situated, but also has the option of letting down canvas sides should the weather not permit. Simply relax in the comfortable lounge reading a good book, or in front of the fireplace enjoying your favourite beer or glass of red wine, and then of course the dining area. The kitchen is open plan and our chef will spoil you with wonderful dishes cooked on an open fire. The Boma area steps off of the lounge deck, where our guests may sit for hours watching the animals and birds that frequent the hole throughout the day - or simply eat, drink, sleep, laugh, or talk.

Tree Top is a place to savour, small bits at a time. A place where giraffe, zebra, lion, and many other species of antelope come to quench their thirst. A place where birds and animals become your daily companion and every other sound and smell that you will not want to forget. Awake at night to the sounds of lion and hyena, or simply the night owls hooting to one another … this is a special place you will not want to leave …

Tree Top is a unique and beautiful camp, situated on the Onguma Game Reserve, adjacent to the Eastern side of Etosha National Park.
