| The Red Capital Ranch is located in a private valley in Beijing, China, which is surrounded by mountains, with rivers weaving through the estate. |
EXPERIENCEThe Red Capital Ranch is a Manchurian hunting lodge nestled beside the Great Wall of China. The resort is set on a private estate of 50 acres offering 360 degree vista views of the Great Wall of China from each of the resort’s ten ancient restored luxury Chinese villas tucked along the foot of a mountain.
All the ten rooms at Red Capital Ranch have spectacular views of the Beijing countryside and the Great Wall of China. Rooms are decorated in the traditional Chinese style.
Part of the Great Wall dating to the first emperor Qin Shi Huangdi is on the estate in the former hunting lodge, which is now a fine dining restaurant offering sophisticated Manchurian cuisine, with open air pavilion dining. The Warlord’s Lounge contains original calligraphy from Wu Peifu one of China’s most notorious warlords. The Tibetan Tiger Lounge is overwhelmed by a stone fireplace where logs crackle in cool weather, which opens on the vistas of the Great Wall.
The Tibetan Secret Spa offers an array of soothing massage treatments for guests seeking to relax at the end of a day of exploration. The spa is based on the five elements of earth, wood, fire, water, and gold form, which is an integrated part of Chinese philosophy of life and basis for relationships between these elements, their creation and rebirth. Each element is inseparable from the other both in life and ecology, a philosophy of continuity of relations from ancient times to present.
