Riad Farnatchi was created out of five small riads, a traditional Moroccan house or palace with an interior garden, in the heart of the oldest part of Marrakech. These houses have stood on the site for many centuries and some of the walls go back over 400 years. Riad Farnatchi now has the feel of a beautiful, highly individual, private house with the facilities of a luxury boutique hotel. With only eight suites, many guests have already found that it is the perfect place for a wonderful private house party.
Riad Farnatchi has only eight suites of varying styles and sizes. All suites have hand made beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, Bose iPod docks, WiFi and stunning interiors. In addition, every room has at least one private sitting area. Quite uniquely, almost every piece of furniture has been specially designed and made for Riad Farnatchi. The style reflects a fascinating fusion of traditional Moroccan and modern European design. It is unmistakably Moroccan and exotic whilst being supremely comfortable and luxurious.
The traditional white marble Hammam is free for the use of guests. Wonderful massages and beauty treatments are available with Riad Farnatchi’s own fully trained specialists. The indoor swimming pool has an underwater jet stream for swimming and is heated in the cooler winter months. Riad Farnatchi also has the use of a beautiful pool and garden outside the Medina where guests can relax and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings.
LOCATION
Riad Farbatchi is located in the heart of the oldest part of Marrakech, known as the Red City in southwestern Morocco in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Marrakech has the largest traditional market in Morocco, called Djemaa el Fna.
