Saruni is a deluxe safari lodge outside the famous Masai Mara National Reserve offering the thrill of a real African adventure coupled with the highest standards of style and comfort. With accommodation for only 12 guests in six cottages, it is set in a remote valley at the heart of the most exciting wilderness in Kenya.

Saruni is the new, deluxe and intimate lodge set in a private conservation area outside the Masai Mara National Reserve, the most famous game park in Africa. Saruni offers a new concept of African safari: a real African adventure lived in harmony with the Maasai warriors coupled with high standards of style and comfort.

The cuisine has a strong Italian flavor but the chefs also love to experiment with the great ingredients that are found in Kenya, especially fish and vegetables. Saruni can easily accommodate vegetarians and guests who have special requests.

Saruni runs the Maasai Wellbeing Space. It is a unique feature in the Maasai Mara: in the most serene and relaxing environment, guests can enjoy massage and wellness treatments under the supervision of highly trained staff. Maasai Wellbeing Space is a private cottage hidden in the valley's olive and cedar forest and devoted to the use of local plants for beauty and relaxation treatments.

Go on safari, driving or walking among elephants, lions, zebras and endless other species of wild animals, accompanied in total safety by the professional guides in the magic of old Africa. The Masai Mara ecosystem has an astounding variety of wildlife. It boasts amazing birdlife with over 550 species and its herds of plains game are second to none.
