Experience the ultimate outdoor adventure at Sonora Resort in British Columbia's stunning Desolation Sound, home to fascinating wildlife and some of the best salmon fishing in the world.
EXPERIENCE
Sonora Resort is one of the world's top fly-fishing and ocean fishing destinations. But this British Columbian luxury resort offers so much more than fishing.
Enjoy thrilling eco-tours along the coast, where you'll get close-up views of grizzly bears, orcas, sea lions, and dolphins. Take a hike through the towering old-growth firs and cedars of the coastal temperate rainforest to beautiful Florence Lake. Or experience a mind-blowing helicopter ride to a glistening glacier where you can enjoy a private picnic prepared by our chef.
Sonora boasts eleven uniquely themed lodges with up to 19 rooms each. The lodges offer a blend of comfort and modern elegance, with soaring vaulted ceilings, huge stone fireplaces, and rooftop balconies with hot tubs overlooking the Yuculta Rapids and surrounding mountains.
The resort also features a world-class spa with mineral hot springs and a dining room serving up spectacular views and authentic Pacific Northwest cuisine.
