Tucked into a sandy socket at the base of the foothills surrounding the NambiRand Nature Reserve, &Beyond-Sossusvlei is a contemporary oasis of ten stone and glass villas overlooking towering sand dunes and seemingly endless desert terrain. Minimalist interiors open to a private veranda designed to protect you from the hot sun; at night you can stargaze through the huge skylight above your king size bed.
The 445,000 acre NambiRand Nature Reserve is private property, and only guests are allowed to explore the region on foot, ATV, or hot air balloon. During the summer the opportunity to enjoy a gourmet picnic on the shoulder of a 1000 ft. high sand dune is not to be missed.
Your days here will end watching the sunset from the spring-fed pool, and your evenings will begin in the cool, underground wine cellar were you'll select a vintage to bid you sweet dreams.

LOCATION
&Beyond-Sossusvlei Desert Lodge is located In the northern section of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, on the eastern boundary of the Namib Naukluft National Park. There's a daily charter flight to &Beyond-Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. The lodge is also accessible by good gravel roads, however during the rainy season a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
