Dating back to the 17th century, Stallmästaregården Hotel and Restaurant has been newly renovated to ensure that the original influences of traditional Sweden are harmoniously combined with the modern expectation of today.

EXPERIENCE

Located just a few minutes from the center of Stockholm, Stallmästaregården Inn has been in existence since the 17th century and is one of Stockholm’s as well as Sweden’s most well known restaurants.

There are now 49 newly built rooms and suites (added to the original restaurant in 2000), decorated in a modern and personal style. All the rooms were designed with the help of interior design architect Ricard Lundberg who has utilized the 18th century Swedish style which is representative of Stallmästaregården. In addition, he has combined this with the Chinese influences which were common during that time as, for instance the Chinese Castle at Drottningholm and the East Indian Company. However, the comfort and high quality are from today which, among other things, means comfortable beds and computer outlets.

The restaurant is a one of the best known in Stockholm and has been a favorite … well, forever. Many famous Swedish chefs began their careers at Stallmästaregården. With an emphasis on Swedish produce of the highest quality together with their very own smokehouse, rotisserie and grill, traditional Swedish cuisine is kept alive with certain inspirations from slightly more modern cooking.

The hotel has meeting and conference facilities with all the audio-visual amenities necessary to host a successful conference. The facilities can also accommodate special functions including weddings and receptions.
