EXPERIENCE

Sundance Resort is nestled at the base of Mount Timpanogos, where 6,000 acres of spectacular wilderness surround you. Watch the moon climb over Utah’s Mount Timpanogos from the patio of your suite, or enjoy a fireside dinner with friends in a mountain home, and you’ll begin to appreciate what Sundance Resort is all about.

Guest rooms at Sundance Resort are decorated with Southwestern mountain decor, including rough-hewn wood, warm tones, and Native American accents. Green from NATÜRA amenities, designed for environmental sustainability, are offered in rooms, as well as WiFi and iPod docking stations. Standard rooms offer a queen-sized bed, full private bedroom, separate vanity and coffee maker while the Studio also offers a gas fireplace and mini-refrigerator. Mountain Lofts are a quaint space with a unique ladder-access loft with a deck or patio. Sundance Resort features a collection of multi-million dollar Mountain Homes which perfectly blend the surrounding mountains with the luxury one would expect at a resort like Sundance Resort. The Stone Ridge Home features six bedrooms and is the ideal escape for families looking to vacation in the mountains. For a more intimate experience, the Pine Haven Home features a large outdoor hot tub overlooking a mountain stream and acres of pine forest.

Dining at Sundance Resort is about an earth to table philosophy of fresh ingredients and local organic produce. The award winning Tree Room serves seasonal mountain cuisine. The atmosphere is romantic with candlelight and soft illumination accenting the Native American art from Robert Redford’s private collection. The Foundry Grill is about simplicity and a return to fundamentals, extending from the room to service and menu. Fresh vegetables and meats are cooked in the apple wood rotisserie oven; water glasses are created from recycled glass and hand blown at the Sundance Resort. The Owl Bar is a restored 1890’s bar/private club and is the original Rosewood Bar once frequented by Butch Cassidy’s Hole in the Wall Gang.

Rejuvenate yourself in the Spa at Sundance, a space inspired by the Sioux concept of Hocoka — a sacred environment for the restoration and healing of the body and spirit. Tap into your inner artist to create pottery, glass or screen a new film and visit the in house gallery. Experience the best of the European Alps, right here in Utah. Discover the popular Scenic & Full Moon lift rides to mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding and skiing. Sundance Resort has over 10 miles of alpine hiking trails, from meandering forest to steep mountain terrain.
