Every guest room at The Driskill captures a sense of stepping back in time while offering all the modern conveniences. Romanesque furnishings, inspired by the original décor of 1886, set the tone of comfort and luxury. The uniquely appointed rooms are decorated with such special touches as original works of art, fine fabrics, and luxurious drapery treatments.
The 66 Historic Guest Rooms, located within the original hotel built in 1886, are decorated in deep, lavish fabrics; each features soaring ceilings, decorative crown moldings, and dramatic black Brazilian marble bathrooms. The Traditional Guest Rooms are located in The Driskill Tower, built in 1929. Each of the 110 rooms is decorated in the soft color palette of the scenic Texas Hill Country. An Art Deco touch is noted in the striking black and white tile bathrooms.
