The breathtaking, snow-capped mountains of the Canadian Rockies surround the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Who says an oasis has to be in the desert?
EXPERIENCE
The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge was born in 1915. Originally, it was just a few tents on the shores of beautiful Lac Beauvert. Today, the charming cabins exude a rustic elegance, making each of them an upper-crust slice of Canadiana.
A set of delightful paths connects the estate's 446 guestrooms, suites, and cabins. The eight private cabins range from The Athabasca Cottage (which is perfect for honeymooners since it's a little more secluded), to the elegant, six-bedroom Outlook log cabin, rebuilt using the plans of the 1930 original.
Jasper Park offers nine dining spots, highlighted by the formal Edith Cavell dining room, and the creative regional dishes at The Moose's Nook Northern Grill.
You're really coming for the incredible views, abundant wildlife, unrivaled skiing and outdoor adventures, and one of Canada's best golf resort courses. After all that, take a soak in the heated outdoor pool - and soak in some serious Rocky Mountain views.
