EXPERIENCEInspired by Europe's finest hotels, The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club was developed in the early 1970s as an exclusive sports Mecca for private club members with outstanding golf, tennis, marina and spa facilities.
The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club began its environmental campaign in the mid 1990s and today is a model for many other resorts and hotels around the world. In addition to its recycling program it is also a sanctuary recognized by the Audubon Society for approximately 41 species of birds.
The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club creates a home away from home with its 392 oversized rooms and suites, all with private balconies, spacious marble bathrooms featuring whirlpool tubs and separate glass-enclosed shower, Frette linens, and all the luxurious little touches that make the rooms a haven of rest.
Most rooms have Mediterranean terra-cotta floors, plush Oriental area rugs, armoires and other exquisite furnishings in soft tones of almond, moss green and peach. Italian red marble, and overstuffed sofas in the classic Mediterranean hues complete the sitting area. French doors open to flower-lined terraces with spectacular views of the manicured fairways or pool gardens. RECOGNITIONLOCATIONDriving Directions from Miami International Airport: the drive from Miami International Airport takes approximately 35 minutes. Exit the airport and follow the signs to I-95 North, take I-95 North to Ives Dairy Road, exit 16 (also called NE 203 Street), go East on Ives Dairy Road to US1 (also called Biscayne Blvd), turn right on Biscayne Blvd and immediately make first left at the traffic light onto Aventura Blvd (NE 199 Street), continue to the end and turn right on West Country Club Drive. The resort's main entrance is on your left.
