Despite its nefarious name, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers has no nasty tricks up its sleeve. Unless you count stealing away your tension, and making you never want to leave.
EXPERIENCE
The Farm at Cape Kidnappers sits on 6,000 acres of pastureland running along the edge of the sea. The estate isn't just a massive piece of land, it also feels spacious. The combination of stone, weathered wood, and modern-but-not-cold furniture create a perfectly unrestricted environment.
The Farm only opened in 2007. So, the Cottage Suites are barely broken in. Once inside one of the 24 suites, you'll find them to be rustic but sophisticated. An odd balance that works. Some of the personal touches include WiFi, fully stocked complimentary mini bar, heated towel rack, and an oversized bathtub. Best of all are the 180° panoramic views of the farm, golf course, and Pacific Ocean from your private balcony.
While it's a working farm, the only job you have is to work on your swing at the golf course designed by legendary architect Tom Doak. The 50' heated infinity pool seems to fall off onto the horizon of the sea. And a poolside cabana with mini-bar provides a shady relaxation area.
