The dark and intimate reception area sets the tone, with black glass walls acting as a frame for a tank of Connemara-bred seahorses and bespoke concierge wall, designed by Philip Treacy. From the wallpaper, lighting and artwork to the furniture and flooring – have been inspired by the landscapes and seashores of County Galway. The colors, textures and materials used reflect this heritage and tradition, but are also effortlessly contemporary. the g hotel offers a total of 101 guestrooms including three specialty suites - the Evangelista suite, the Corner suite, the Atrium suite, 16 Luxury Suites and 10 Junior Suites. The remaining rooms are either of a superior or deluxe standard.

The restaurant, Riva at the g hotel, is perfect for both guests and locals. The restaurant at the g hotel, seating 70, offers contemporary Italian cuisine with some international favorites added to cater for the many international travelers. the g hotel’s distinctive approach to design is carried through to the restaurant, with banquettes in purple velvet and jewel-colored chairs. Serving bespoke ‘the g hotel’ cocktails as well as more familiar favorites, the g hotel’s Cocktail Bar is deliciously decadent. A carpet of thousands of Red Swarovski crystals adorns the bar itself is a distinctive feature, and one that guarantees a glamorous start – or finish – to any evening.

ESPA at the g hotel's design reflects a relaxed timelessness of contemporary elegance. In keeping with the overall design philosophy, nothing has been spared in its beautiful design and the superior quality of its finishes. Stone, wood, linen and glass are used in complementary new ways with subtle, warm colors. Guests are invited to re-connect with their senses through the gentle sounds of music and water, the fragrance of fresh flowers and scented candles, the grounding element of wood flooring, the patterns and textures of rich materials and the taste of a warming tisane.
