The Marine Hermanus

Perched on top of the cliffs at Hermanus, The Marine Hermanus has one of the southern hemisphere's most spectacular seascapes. The Marine has 42 individually decorated bedrooms and suites, each with its own private facilities. The rooms have commanding views that extend across Walker Bay or over the beautiful internal courtyard, finely manicured gardens and the Overberg Mountains. Hermanus offers some of the best land-based whale watching in the area.

Rooms range from Single Rooms to Premier Suites. Single Rooms have double beds and are stylishly decorated. Premier Suites are magnificently and individually decorated and all have varied views of the sea. The biggest of these suites features a large Georgian style bay window, and is on two levels, which includes a spacious seating area downstairs with picture windows overlooking Walker Bay.

The restaurant serves an array of the highest quality dishes with hints of the Mediterranean and the East that highlight the creative talents of a superb culinary team. The décor is fresh and sophisticated, with rich creams and other natural shades to enhance the restaurant’s ambience. The view of the sea is exceptional and adds another dimension to the dining experience. During June to December diners can view the whales from their tables.
