Designed by one of Thailand's most renowned architects, with the help of one its foremost interior designers, The Rachamankha wasn't so much built as lovingly curated. The hotel is a monument to Thai Lana culture - a mix of Chinese, Dai, Laotion, Lua, and Burmese influences - and has the historical artifacts to prove it.
Visit the gallery to study authentic silverware, hill-tribe jewelery, and a sword collection worthy of an ancient army. For a taste of antique Thai Lana furniture, go no further than your own room. Each accommodation at The Rachamankha features one-of-a-kind pieces, along with bamboo window blinds and reed floor mats. There are 23 rooms in total, arranged in true temple style around a lush tropical courtyard.
The on-site restaurant, decorated with Ming and Qing Dynasty porcelain, serves Thai cuisine fused with flavors from Vietnam, Japan, China, and continental Europe.
